The new Edinburgh Awards are very different from other charities and awards the late Duke of Edinburgh was associated with. It is especially different from the "DofE's Awards" which aim to be a fun life-changing experience with an opportunity to discover new interests and talents.

The new Edinburgh Awards lay great stress on scholastic achievement, as measured by our independent equivalency exams for Commonwealth countries corresponding to the advanced and higher Scottish Qualification Certificate for (a) English (b) Mathematics (c) Science

Disclaimer: The Commonwealth Academy is a private group of some receipients of the erstwhile Duke of Edinburgh's Commonwealth fellowships, determined to spread his legacy, gospel and spirit after him. We are not affiliated to anyone else, and do not endorse anyone else.
